For Luna Luna 1987, Monika GilSing designed a collection of Wind Images, dramatic fabric-based works that ripple in the wind. GilSing, who frequently makes work for the outdoors, displayed her dynamic flags throughout the fairground.

This t-shirt is inspired by one of GilSing's flags–with the face of one of her curious characters on the front, and her signature on the back.
